Hot Topic presents the 2008 Hope For The Hopeless Tour featuring Kill Hannah, The Medic Droid, Innerpartysystem and The White Tie Affair. The tour is scheduled to hit 40 cities across the US throughout July and August.
This isn't just a run-of-the-mill tour, it's a musical event. Each stop will feature area DJs spinning rock, electronica, techno and power-pop beats between sets. You won't want to miss a minute of the party!
Kill Hannah will headline each night with their unique brand of darkwave, new romantic and alternative rock. The band is touring is support of their limited edition Hope For The Hopeless record which features exclusive new songs, demos, rarities and unreleased tracks.
The Medic Droid started out as a side project, but after an overwhelming response, the two members decided to take it all the way. Whats Your Medium, the debut album, is reminiscent of Orgy, Depeche Mode, Muse, New Order and Duran Duran.
Innerpartysystem's music is inspired both by their love of electronic music and hardcore punk. When describing their live show, the band says, "When you see us, there's a real aggressive vibe in some ways to what we do, and then there's also this party atmosphere...It takes the spotlight off of us, and puts it on the music, where it belongs."
The White Tie Affair is carving out its own niche with glammed-up, synthed-out dance-rock music. "At the end of the day, if our music makes you smile or dance or sing in some way, then we are accomplishing our goals. We want to bring a little fun back to music. We want to brighten up your bad days. We want be the soundtrack to your great days" states vocalist Chris Wallace.
