Mike, our Assistant Buyer for Rock Tees (pictured above on right), crashed the Glasshouse in Pomona, CA and let his camera run wild on Alkaline Trio. Check out what he got for us.

Ever wonder what happened to fan clubs? Where are the perks for being a super fan of a certain band? Sure you go to the shows, scream every word, collect every record, but what else can you do? Well, if you're a fan of Alkaline Trio, the Blood Pact is the perfect for you!

The Blood Pact is Alkaline Trio's fan club for the fans by the band. No record labels getting in the way, nope, not here. Just the band giving back to us, the fans. By joining the Blood Pact, you get a goodie bag of stuff! You get a shirt, membership card, tote bag, stickers, pins, etc. Then, once you're a member, you have access to exclusive, members only downloads (MP3s, PDF files that you can use for iron ons, pictures, etc.), exclusive members-only merchandise (shirts, shoelaces, etc.) and an exclusive members only messageboard!

One of the best features of the Blood Pact is signing up for a meet and greet. When the Trio plays near your town, you can enter to win a spot for a meet and greet before the show. There are tour dates in the Blood Pact with a meet and greet button next to them. All you need to do is hit the button and you've entered. Then, about a week before the show, you'll find out if you were one of the lucky winners. I was lucky enough to go when they played the Glasshouse in Pomona, CA and it was great! I got to see part of the sound check and they even took requests on what to play. After the sound check, they hung out for a little while and signed records, took pictures and just talked about music, the tour, the new record, ghosts, whatever we wanted! They gave me permission to put 'em online, so here they are! Enjoy.
